Syrian Foreign Ministry reinterprets statements on chemical weapons

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said that the words of its spokesman Jihad Maqdisi about chemical weapons were taken neglecting the context, Interfax reports.

The official said that Syria would use chemical weapons against foreign intervention. US President Barack Obama warned Syrian President Bashar al-Assad against using them.
