Another cyber attack has been launched against Iranian nuclear facilities, said Mikko Hipponen, Director of F-secure AV software manufacturer (Finland), who received a letter from an anonymous scientist of the Iranian Organization for Nuclear Energy, ITAR-TASS reports.
The virus was called Metasploit. It shut down systems in Natanza and Fordu and turns on the Thunderstruck song by AC/DC on computers at night.
Another virus Stuxnet attacked Iranian nuclear facilities two years ago. It remained discreet for over a year. Many software specialists said that it was capable of taking control over industrial facilities, including the center for uranium enrichment in Natanza.
