Georgian wine prices may rise

The disaster at Kakheti has caused problems for wine manufacturers. The Pogreb Kindzmarauli says that about 10,000 hectares of vineyards were damaged, 400,000 tons of grape destroyed (20-25% of harvest), Georgia Online reports.

Dmitry Lebanidze said that the period of grape harvesting will determine the increase of prices.

The disaster destroyed 60 tons of harvest of Shukhman Wine Company (20% of harvest).
