International Winter Student Games may take place in Sochi in 2017

Vladimir Putin, the Russian premier, has proposed organising the International Winter Student Games in Sochi in 2017, RIA Novosti reports.

In his opinion, "any sports competitions can be organised at any level after the Sochi Olympic games. The expenses won't be high".

The next International Student Winter Games will take place in Kazan in 2014.
