More than 20,000 Chechens are left without electricity

All in all, 21,000 residents of Chechnya remain without electricity due to
an accident on electric lines, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the
representative of the regional Emergency Situations Ministry.

The agency was told that the shutdown did not affect the operation of
socially-significant objects. At the moment they are running on reserve
energy resources.
