The president of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), Alexander Zhukov, said
that Sochi will avoid the transportation difficulties faced by the guests and
participants of the Olympic Games in London, RIA Novosti reports.

Zhukov said that there is "a very big traffic problem" in London during the Olympic Games-2012. According to Zhukov, in Sochi there will be
no major traffic problems.

"We have very much changed the infrastructure there: we have made 17-18
interchanges, an alternative road to Kurortskiy Prospect and automobile
and rail ring roads in the mountains. The logistics system is built
correctly," Zhukov said.
Zhukov also stressed that competitions will take place outside of the city
of Sochi, which will make the logistics much easier.
