PKK terrorists detained in central Istanbul

On Monday, two female terrorists were detained in the center of Istanbul, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish newspaper Sabah.

150 rounds were found during a search of one of the detainees. According to preliminary data, the two women are members of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, demanding the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has been ongoing for more than 25 years. The PKK has been recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
