600 million people suffer from power cut in India

Delhi has fully run out of power, although its airport is using reserve energy sources, Interfax reports.

4,000 constables were mobilized to control traffic. Passengers have been evacuated from the subway.

About 600 million people have experienced the power cut in India. Some call it the world’s largest catastrophe of its kind.

Indian Energy Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said that it may take about 1.5 to 6 hours to restore power.
