Police break up opposition rally in downtown Moscow

 

Russian police broke up an opposition rally in downtown Moscow today, Ekho Moskvy reports.
Many opposition activists including controversial writer Edurd Limonov were arrested.

The protesters gathered on Triumfalnaya Square to demand actual freedom of assembly.
