Sochi to limit air traffic for Olympic Games in 2014

Sochi plans to limit air traffic for the Olympic and Paralympic games on February 7-23, 2014, RIA Novosti reports.

Traffic limitations will also be imposed from January 7 to April 16, 2014. Limitations will be imposed to intercept violators, rescue operations and aid in emergency operations. Charter flights to Anapa, Gelendzhik, Mineralniye Vody, Sochi, Stavropol, Krasnodar and other destinations require permission of the operative headquarters of the Olympic Games.

Air traffic limitations were made during the Olympic Games in London and Beijing.
