Baku to host Caspian Oil and Gas Conference in October

Baku will host the 6th Caspian Oil and Gas Trade-Transport Conference organized by Confidence Capital on October 15-16, Trend reports.

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR), the Azerbaijani Ministry for Industry and Energy and Ministry for Transport, the Ministry for Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, the Mangistau Region and the US Board of Trade in Azerbaijan are the traditional supporters of the conference. Over 500 guests from 25 states have taken part.

Participants will discuss the Caspian Sea as a strategic energy center, exports of petroleum, development of energy markets in Central Asia, gas projects of the Caspian and Black Seas and transportation.

A special seminar on oil refining and petrochemistry will be organized on October 17-18.
