Cossack brigades to join Russian army

Russia will soon form Cossack brigades, Russian Chief of General Staff Army General Nikolai Makarov said, Interfax reports.

Every military district will have at least one Cossack brigade. They will not have a special uniform and will use the standard uniform instead. The general added that this does not mean the formation of a separate branch of forces.
