Concert in memory of Muslim Magomayev to gather opera and popular singers

A concert in memory of Muslim Magomayev, devoted to the 70th anniversary of his birth on October 5, will bring together opera and popular singers in Crocus City Hall who will sing his songs, RIA Novosti reports.

The singers include close friends and colleagues of Magomayev such as Lev Leshchenko, Tamara Gvertseteli, Alla Pugacheva, Nadezhda Babkina, Dmitry Khvorostovky and others.

The concert was organized by the Muslim Magomayev Foundation together with Crocus City Hall, which also organizes the Magomayev International Singing Competition. This year it will take place on October 20-21.
