Alpinists saved in Svanetia

Four Russian climbers have been rescured from the mountains of Svanetia and taken to the Mestia district center after 6 days, News Georgia reports.
Head of the Mestia municipality Ilia Japaridze said that rescuers arrived by helicopter from Tbilisi at 1 pm. The tourists spent six days in the area after an avalanche and a rockfall at the Tetnuldi Peak. Over 60 rescuers were mobilized. One of the tourists has an injured leg.
