Top Iranian official arrives in Syria

 

The head of Iran's Supreme National Council flew to Damascus on Tuesday for talks with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Haaretz reports.

Arriving in Damascus, the Iranian security chief said that only a "Syrian solution" would end the crisis.
