Russia thanks Georgia for saving climbers

The Russian Foreign Ministry has thanked Georgian rescuers for saving climbers in Svaneti in the north-western part of Georgia, Georgia Online reports.

Four climbers were stuck near the peak of Mt. Tetnuldi for 6 days after an avalanche and a rockfall. Over 60 Georgian rescuers were mobilized. The climbers managed to send an SMS. One climber had an injured leg.
