Georgian political parties get numbers for ballot papers

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Georgia has issued the preliminary numbers for political parties for the polls of October 1, 2012, News Georgia reports.

The United National Movement keeps its number 5, the Conservative Party 7, the Christian Democratic Movement 10.

Free Georgia of Kakha Kukava got number 1, Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia of Bidzina Ivanishvili got 28, the Labour Party of Shalva Natelashvili got 38, the Greens of Georgy Gachechiladze got 39.

Registration of political blocs will start on August 19. It will be concluded on August 25. Signature checks will be held on August 15.
