US torpedo ship saves Iranian fishermen

US torpedo ship James Williams has saved 10 Iranian and 2 Pakistani fishermen in the Gulf of Oman, spokesman of the US Navy Captain Jayson Salat said. They will be taken to the Enterprise aircraft carrier, ITAR-TASS reports.

US torpedo ship Kidd saved Iranian fisherman from 40 days of detention by Somali pirates in January. Tehran warned Washington that its vessels were not allowed in the area.
