Arab League Foreign Ministers' meeting in Jeddah postponed

The Arab League deputy secretary-general, Ambassador Ahmed bin Hilli, announced the postponement of an emergency Arab League Foreign Ministers' meeting scheduled for today in Jeddah which to explore developments of the Syrian crisis and the appointing of a replacement instead of the UN-Arab League Envoy to Syria, Mr. Kofi Annan, the Bahrain News Agency reports.
The Arab League announced yesterday (August 11, 2012) that an emergency meeting of the Arab League Foreign Ministers was scheduled to be held in Jeddah on Sunday (August 12, 2012) to explore "possible political action after the resignation of the UN-Arab League Envoy to Syria, Mr. Kofi Annan".
