Iranian president arrives in Medina

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has arrived in Medina (Saudi Arabia) for the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Mecca of August 14-15, Interfax reports.

Despite tensions between with Iran, the king of Saudi Arabia sent an invitation to Ahmadinejad. The two states have disagreements over the Syrian conflict.
