Bushehr power plant to be opened in September

Ali Akbar Salehi announced recently that the Bushehr nuclear plant will be put into operation in September, Trend reports, citing ILNA.

The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization said ''the anti-Iranian resolution has no impact, we continue the process.' Iran signed a deal with Russia in 1992 to finalize the construction of the nuclear power plant. Moscow has since postponed the launch of the Bushehr plant, which was initially planned to be completed in 1999.
