Textile plant to be built in Iran's free economic zone "Aras"

The deputy director of the Iranian free economic zone (FEZ) "Aras" on economic issues, Iradzh Hatami, announced, that "Aras" is carrying out construction of a textile plant, reports Iran News, citing IRNA.

According to him, 67% of the construction work has been completed, and after the equipment is installed the plant will be put into operation. Initially the cost of the construction was estimated at $10.5 million, but following modernization of the technological process of manufacturing, its cost increased to $30 million. It is expected that more than 130 people will be employed at the plant in the first stage of its operation.
