US does not expect Israel to strike Iran

US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta does not expect Israel to strike Iran and believes that negotiations on the nuclear program should continue, Interfax reports.

Israeli Ambassador to the US Michael Oren warned that there was little time left before Israel takes military action. Israeli officials say that Iran is close to building nuclear weapons.
