Kazakhstan will not export uranium to Iran

Kazakhstan does not plan to sell uranium to Iran, Chief of Kazatomprom, Vladimir Shkolnik, said, News Kazakhstan reports.

He emphasized that the international service for control of uranium exports monitors peace use of the fuel. The official said that Kazakhstan receives details of purpose for use of uranium before selling it.
