Georgian healthcare management to operate using German standards

German Secretary of State Tomas Ilka is on a visit to Georgia with a delegation of the Federal Healthcare Ministry, Trend reports.

He met Georgian Deputy Minister for Labour, Healthcare and Social Protection Irakly Nadareishvili, officials of insurance companies, hospitals and NGOs. They discussed development of cooperation.

Germany has been helping Georgia prevent tuberculosis outbreaks, training of medics and provided humanitarian aid.
