Armenian Ministry of Emergency asks to raise salaries

Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan asked the country's prime minister Tigran Sargsyan to increase the salaries of civil servants. The salary of  Armen Yeritsyan himself 240 thousand drams per month ($ 584), reports News.am.

" Hopefully in the near future the salaries will be raised," - said the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

Note that the average emergency officers  receive about 70-80 thousand drams per month (less than $200).
