Dagestan capital to turn into resort town

Tourist and recreational area of Makhachkala and the country in general are among the top priorities for today. As RIA "Dagestan" reports  with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Dagestan, the strategy the socio-economic development of the territorial area "Makhachkala" makes emphasis on the development of tourism in the capital.

According to the document, will be modernized existing tourist infrastructure will be modernized , while the new modern innovative tourist objects will be built on the basis of the natural resources of the Caspian Sea. This will include the development of beach tourism infrastructure with the participation of JSC "Resorts of the North Caucasus," as well as  infrastructure for cruise tourism and  berths for boats.
