Azerbaijani foreign minister to attend summit of Non-Aligned Movement

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will represent the country at the 16th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov said, APA reports.

Syria will be represented by Wael Nader al-Halqi, chairman of the committee for national security and foreign policy of the Iranian parliament Alaeddin Borujerli said.

The summit opened on August 26. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is expected to arrive on August 29.
