Medvedev approves Russia public initiative concept

Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved the concept of Russian public
initiative. The text of the document was posted on the website of the
government, RIA Novosti reports.
This documents stipulates the publication of proposals on a specific
website and official consideration of these proposals should they
get the support of 100,000 people.
According to the law, those proposing measures to improve Russian
legislation will not be allowed to hide their names.
These "people's proposals" will be considered by an expert group
only after they receive support from 100,000 people.
