168 convicts pardoned in Georgia

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has pardoned 168 convicts as the country celebrates the Dormition of the Theotokos, Georgian Minister for Corrections and Legal Assistance Khatuna Kalmakhelidze said, Georgia Online reports.

The pardoning commission earlier recommended the amnesty of 131 convicts.
