Russian senator wants national Olympic committee to move to Sochi

Ahmed Bilalov, Vice President of the Russian Olympic Committee, wants the headquarters of the ROC and sports federations to move from Moscow to Sochi to make preparations for the Winter Olympic Games of 2014 more efficient, ITAR-TASS reports.

The official reminded that the UK and Canada had realized the initiative before. He believes that national athletes should make use of the sports facilities which will be used at the competitions, including the Roza Khutor tracks.

The senator pointed out that the US sports center is at the Olympic base of Colorado Springs.

Bilalov believes that physical education should become massive at schools, the way it is in the US, China, Germany and European states.
