Azerbaijan prepares ex-presidency law

The Azerbaijani parliament will consider an ex-presidency law in the
near future. The law was prepared by the presidential Administration,
the head of the parliamentary body of Azerbaijan, Safa Mirzoyev, told
journalists on Friday, Trend reports.

The amendments to the Constitution of Azerbaijan setting out
ex-presidents' status were passed on 18th March 2009 in a referendum.
