Russia wins 11 medals on 4th day of Paralympics

Russian athletes won 4 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals at the Paralympic Games in London on the fourth day, RIA Novosti reports.

The golden medals were won by Yevgeny Shvetsov (track and field athletics, 100 meters), Alexey Labzin (track and field athletics, 400 meters) and Roman Makarov (swimming, 100 meters), Nicole Rodomakina (jumping).

Russia has won 34 medals during the Paralympic Games in London in four days. 12 of them are gold, 13 silver and 9 bronze. China has won most medals, including 35 gold, 24 silver and 28 bronze.

The fifth day will have 50 sets of medals.
