South Ossetian budget amounts to 4.5 billion roubles this year

The South Ossetian state budget for 2010 will amount to 4.326 billion roubles, providing for a doubling of expenditure on social needs, news agency Res reports.

The Finance Minister of South Ossetia, Irina Sytnik, said that the 2010 state budget provides for a two times increase in expenditure on education, science, youth policy, sport, culture, art, healthcare and social policy compared to last year's budget. The minister noted that a substantial part of the budget is spent on budget-financed organizations and reconstruction work in the country.
