40 minor ports to be built in south Iran

Ataollah Sadr, head of the Organization of Ports and Navigation, said that 40 minor multipurpose ports will be opened before March 30, 2013, Iran News reports.

Construction started two years ago. Realization of the project will change migration streams and attract investments. They will reduce the need for road freighting, thus decreasing pollution.
