Foreign companies to build new subway stations in Baku

Foreign companies will be hired to build new subway stations in Baku, it was stated by Shaig Efendiyev, CEO of Azertunelmetrotikinti, 1news.az reports.

The official said that no foreign companies have been involved in constructing the subway since 1949. Foreign partners will be involved in tenders.

Negotiations with partners will be held at a congress on tunnel construction and underground infrastructure in Baku on September 10-11.
