Joseph Ricciardone could be next US Deputy Ambassador to Turkey

US president Barack Obama has nominated the US Deputy Ambassador to Kabul, Francis Joseph Ricciardone, as the new Deputy Ambassador to Ankara, reports 1news.az referring to the newspaper 'Sabah' and a White House communiqué.

If the US Senate approves, Ricciardone will replace James Jeffrey, who will be nominated to the post of US Deputy Ambassador to Baghdad.
