US Senators John McCain, Joseph Lieberman and Lindsey Graham have visited Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili at his vineyard in Kvareli, Vzglyad reports.

They helped the president collect grape.

Foreign ministers of Sweden, Poland, Fiji and Argentina did the same procedures this week.

John McCain emphasized that oppositionist billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili had broken ties with Russia. He noted that the Arab Spring had reached Russia.

US senators headed by McCain met Ivanishvili on Thursday and discussed the position of Georgian Dream at the upcoming parliamentary polls of October 1.

Irakly Alasania, former representative of Georgia to the UN and leader of Free Democrats, said in June that the US sent Saakashvili signals about time to resign.

The meeting with Georgian Dream was held at its central office, attended by new US Ambassador to Tbilisi Richard Norland, Alasania and a member of the Republican Party David Usupashvili.
