Iranian films to vie in 2012 Kazan Muslim Film Festival

 

Several Iranian cinematic productions have been selected to compete at the 2012 Kazan International Muslim Film Festival in Russia’s Tatarstan Republic, Press TV reports.

Reza Mirkarimi’s A Cube of Sugar, Mohammad Ali Hashemzehi’s documentary Sechkan and Fereydoun Hassanpour’s Ziba and I are to vie with many visual creations participating from around the world at the eighth edition of the festival held in the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan.

This year’s festival which is scheduled to focus on the theme of “Through Dialogue of Cultures to Culture of Dialogue” is held in competitive and noncompetitive sections.
