The International Civil Office in Kosovo is closing down today, granting the country sovereignty.

Pieter Feith, a diplomat of the Netherlands supervising the international group for Kosovo, has closed the office, Firstnews reports.

According to the plan of Martti Ahtisaari, the country has its right for Constitution, flag, hymn, army, police and special services.

Serbia has not recognized Kosovo independence yet. Tens of thousands of Serbs in the northern part of the country refuse to obey Pristina.
