Joseph Kobzon to sing in Baku

People’s Artist of the USSR Joseph Kobzon will sing at the Heydar Aliyev Palace in Baku to mark the 75th anniversary of the singer on September 18, Trend reports.

Kobzon attended the First Forum of Azerbaijani-Russian Intelligencia in 2010, expressing amazement with the hospitality.

The singer will perform in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Ukraine, Israel and other parts of the world.

Joseph Kobzon was born in Chasov Yar of the Donetsk Region of Ukraine on September 11, 1937. He is the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Culture of the Russian parliament, appointed in December 2011. He received the USSR State Premium, he won numerous international contests.
