Georgia to host NATO drills on disaster response

NATO will have regular drills on disaster response in Georgia on September 22-28, 2012, Trend reports.
The military drills were codenamed Georgia-2012. 11 teams from 30 states will operate under the auspices of the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center.
According to the scenario, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 will happened 35 km south of Tbilisi at 2.20 pm on September 20. Over 100,000 people in Rustavi will be in danger because of chemical and petroleum facilities, factories, railways and roads.
Georgian and NATO forces will train rescue operations together.
