At its first meeting after the cabinet reshuffle the Georgian government adopted a new strategy for Georgia's relations with the "occupied territories" (Abkhazia and South Ossetia), Interfax reports.

Georgia's State Minister for Re-Integration, Temur Yakobashvili, explained that the new strategy includes measures to secure implementation of the government's general plan, so that it will not exist only on paper.

He added that the strategy stipulates activities in four major spheres - humanitarian, social, economic and the healthcare sector.
