Turkish army prevents terrorist attack

An attack by the terrorist organisation the PKK was prevented in Turkey, reports TRT Russian.

In the Cizre district of Şırnak Province terrorists prepared to ambush a Turkish police bus. Special operatives noticed the terrorists hiding in the village of Koprubashy. The police ordered them to surrender their weapons, but the terrorists opened fire. One of them was killed in the subsequent gunfight, another was captured.

The incident is now being investigated.
