Iran calls for Caspian integration

Iran has called for establishing an organization for Caspian countries' integration in order to jointly solve existing economic and humanitarian problems of the region, News-Kazakhstan reports.

The idea was proposed by Mehdi Sanai, the head of the Iranian-Russian inter-parliamentary group.

Addressing attendees of the 2nd international conference on Caspian cooperation, Sanai said that establishment of a special body for cooperation between the Caspian states  is necessary.
