Iran's crude oil exports increased by 10% this month, despite sanctions

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), in spite of
Western sanctions, exports of crude oil from Iran have grown by 10% in
the last month, Iran News reports, referring to ISNA.

Iran reported that last Sunday the country's private companies began
their first deliveries of crude oil to foreign markets.

The head of the Association of Iranian Oil Exporters, Hassan
Hosroudzherdi, said that at the moment the private sector of the
country has a number of contracts to export oil abroad.

According to Hosroudzherdi, a consortium consisting of Iranian private
companies plans to supply to overseas markets, including the EU
countries, up to 20% of crude oil exported by Iran.
