SOCAR to become sole contractor of BP contracts in Azerbaijan

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) will purchase foreign shares of the company using its subsidiary Bos Shelf, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said, Trend reports.

SOCAR and Star Gulf FZJO had equal shares of Bos Shelf.

McDermott, Saipem and other companies will be subcontractors of Bos Shelf.
