Freed Azerbaijani poets thank president and public

Azerbaijani poets Farid Guseyn and Shakhriyar Gadzhizade, who have recently been freed after 4 months detention in Iran, thanked President Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani public for their support, Trend reports.

"We were freed only because of a massive public campaign. We believed we would be freed, we believed in our country," the poets said.
