Kazakhstan does not want Eurasian Parliament

Yerlan Karin, a secretary of the Kazakh ruling party Nur Otan, said that the Eurasian Parliament will not be formed, Gazeta.ru reports.

He explained that forming a supranational structure would violate Kazakh sovereignty set in the Constitution.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev chairs the ruling party. Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Kazakhstan in the near future.
