Militants attack law enforcers in Dagestan and Ingushetia

Unidentified gunmen killed a soldier in the Dagestani city of Buynaksk on Tuesday-Wednesday night.

A militant killed in Khasavyurt earlier was identified as Kamalutdin Khasaymirzayev of the Khasavyurtovskaya Group. He was suspected of attacking a police officer, trafficking weapons and purposeful damage to property.

Five militants were killed in the village of Orzhonikidzevskaya in Ingushetia. Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said that three of them were leaders of the Sunzhenskaya Group. Two of them were identified as Dzeytov and Makhauri, RIA Novosti reports.

Makharbi Isayev, leader of a militant group, was killed in the Vedensky District of Chechnya.
